Hapawpaw began with an old dog.
Like so many good things in life, it started quietly — an aging companion who once sprinted to the door every morning, now needing a moment to get up. Who once followed us room to room, now resting more often than not. Who still wagged his tail at dinnertime, even when standing for it had become hard.
We looked for ways to make his days easier and ours less back-breaking. A bed here, a sling there, a ramp that didn't fit, a tray table that wobbled.
